Promoting literacy. One beer at a time.
What do beer and books have in common? Well, nothing. At least not until our latest campaign for Project Flight hit the streets.
Project Flight – an organization dedicated to promoting literacy in children and teens – called on Crowley Webb to help brand their Oktoberfest-themed fundraiser. And just like that, Booktoberfest was born.
Aside from naming the event, we created materials to encourage sponsorship and attendance. Perhaps you’ve seen one of the posters in Wegmans, caught a glimpse of the billboard on the 190, or even visited the website.
We can’t tell you it was a great success. Not yet anyway. But if ticket sales are any indication, we think there just might be a happy ending.
Tickets are still available at all Buffalo Niagara Wegmans locations.
really, all we're doing is evoking a popular tradition this time of year to raise funds (from adults) for a very worthy cause. you should join us. it's going to be a hoot.

Hmm... referencing beer ads to sell literacy to children? Ballsy.
